A Simple Statement To Washington D.C.

I agree with Rush Limbaugh, Roger Hedgecock and I love Mark Levin. There is a very simple statement that should be sent to Washington D.C.: It says everything that Rush, Roger, and the great one, Mark Levin have been saying. It puts to rest the notion that the Government is the provider of necessity, food, shelter, and health care. It puts to rest the notion that man is meant to be a subservient slave to the greater good, that prosperity and profit from legitimate and productive enterprise is evil, that freedom and individuality is an illusion, that true love is a delusion, and that happiness can only be achieved at the expense of the loss of others rather than at the expense of one's own effort while adding value to the quality of life. People have been sold a bill of goods beginning with Roosevelt's New Deal, the instigation of making income taxes permanent, and taking us off the gold standard. One could even say that man's obligatory servitude to some abstract delusion of tyranny as a necessary inevitability stems back thousands of years.

The United States of America has been considered the great experiment in freedom, which has proved that freedom is the right and only path to liberty, prosperity, and genuine happiness. One phrase can say it all as to what it takes to achieve and continue the greatness, glory, and the very survival of mankind; by simply pointing out the falsehood of a two thousand year old premise of hapless slavery to a grand delusion, taken into the form of an organized institution to carry out its blood shed and unthinkable torture of an eternal torment of amputated souls. One simple, short statement can dissolve all the corrupt, hypocritical, and contradictory acts against humanity: That statement is this;

"It's not the government's job!"

A Letter To Rush

Recently I wrote a letter to Rush Limbaugh regarding the ongoing debate on public health care, and how regular, hard working Americans are being informed and voicing their opinions. It appears that the majority of Americans don't want it, they also don't think the stimulus package was a good idea, and Obama's approval rating is dropping to nearly 50% in every tracking poll. The Democrats are unraveling at the fact that so many people are against their socialist agenda and are much smarter than they thought. Even though the Dems can ram-rod the public health care through against the will of the American people, I now have hope; hope that the final version of the bill will be watered down enough so that when the Republicans reclaim the House and Senate in 2010, they'll be able to undo the damage.

Hi Rush, Mega Intellectual Dittos!!

You have given me hope. Ever since Obama’s election, I was convinced that capitalism and our freedom was over. Now, thanks to you Rush, I see that it’s not. You are inspiring so many people to speak out against Obama’s health care proposal, and in large part we are fired up because you have so eloquently pointed out his true intentions; changing our country into socialism.

On a more philosophic level, you have been very good at making the connection between truth denial and Obama’s failed attempts at convincing people that what they see isn’t real. His speaking skills are now failing to disguise his true intentions of having as much power over as many people’s lives as possible. He’s a typical socialist who hate’s capitalism and freedom, and I fear we are moving too close to the point of no return; but as I’ve said, you’ve given me hope. Hope, because a lot of people are being awakened to the truth. The truth is absolute, and everyone must choose between freedom and tyranny, reason and fear, courage and complacency, truth and falsehood, good and evil. People are choosing, and those choosing on the side of freedom are sincere, more passionate, and growing in numbers.

I’ve written and published a book (“Profound & Simple”) that goes to the heart and soul of all that is real; of how the fundamental principles of truth and ethics in the human experience must be understood for continued human survival. Human survival requires genuine happiness, and essential to attaining happiness is freedom. My Dedication To My Late Mother, Audrey

When I was a teenager, my mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor; it was the source of her convulsions. She was a good woman with a strong will to live. The doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN said that summer she would probably not make it through the fourth of July weekend. We made funeral arrangements with expectations for the worse; after all, the world's best doctors couldn't be wrong. They said even if by some miracle she would make it through that weekend, the longest she could possibly live would be two years. Well, she pulled through that weekend, in unimaginable pain, hardly able to breathe as her lungs constantly filled up with mucous and had to be emptied through a tube. Bedridden, unable to walk, speak, or eat solid food, she somehow kept on living. She slowly got better to the point where she could get around with assistance to stand and use a walker. She was verbally incoherent, yet I could see in her eyes that she consciously knew what was going on. Thirteen years later her suffering came to a peaceful end. Her spirit had defied the world's leading medical professionals, I loved her very much; she was beautiful. Ten years following her death my father died from lung cancer. He did not suffer as long, a few months, and I was not as close to him as I was my mother. My favorite uncle died from lung cancer a couple of years before my mother was diagnosed with the brain tumor. A Cousin of mine overcame Hodgkin’s disease, and I have a brother who got lupus. Cancer runs deep on both sides of my family, and everyone in my family but me smokes cigarettes.

I'm the black sheep, previously running marathons and now cycling because of extensive knee and hip injuries; I stay fit and healthy. I don't know how much heredity contributes to my family's history of cancer, or how much the smoking, poor diet, and sedentary lifestyle plays a role. I like to believe that attitude, one's mental outlook and choices mainly determine quality of life. There is no limit on the greatness, joy, beauty, and potential of the human spirit, which can seem to defy all physical logic. I feel deeply in my heart the love for my mother, the love for her giant spirit, the love for life in the highest sense of living, the love for benevolence, kindness, honor, dignity, and for all of humanity; this abstraction which cannot be formulated by any mathematics or measured with a slide-rule, this thing we call love, is the root of all happiness, and transcends all time and space. That is my inspiration. I'm 48 years old now and can out-ride and out-work most 20 year olds. It's all about the spirit and love in my soul that keeps me youthful. I've devoted myself to taking the highest path of virtue and in that sense will never grow old.

We all make a difference in the world, for the world is truly what we make it. I know someday the world will be made into a more peaceful, loving, and virtuous place, for there are many aspects and places within it that are already so. Love and happiness are as much a part of reality as anything else, which cannot be defied for reality is absolute. Anything that is not real does not exist; in fact, the only thing that is real, is everything.

What I Think

With all this dependency going on encouraged by the current administration, I think what needs to be focused on is, what is within ourselves as individuals; if each and every one of us focuses on working hard, being both independent and benevolent by doing the right thing. Staying with the golden rule, being honest with ourselves and others, doing the right thing from what we know in our hearts and minds to be true. To be positive and always offer the best within us, to roll-up our sleeves, and in an Herculean effort defy all this socialist B.S. by creating wealth from earnest work, tirelessly in the spirit of freedom. It's time to stop being a bunch of whining pansy's and get to work, to steam roll past the national debt and the political socialists with the unlimited spiritual power in the human soul, rising in virtue to abundant prosperity from abundant living.

All of this activity, the energy needed for it can only be generated by a genuine passion and desire, which at its foundation from which it grows is wisdom. Of knowing, not just believing, but of knowing the truth, the nature of truth and what is essential to long term human survival. Such a wisdom is derived from individual, conscious effort. Gaining knowledge is a useful tool to that end, yet the source to make it possible is philosophy. My book, "Profound & Simple." does well to inspire philosophic contemplation, an essential process in the acquisition of wisdom. Passion for living from wisdom feeds the spirit, connecting on a conscious level, the mind, body, heart and soul. It must be known and felt in every fiber of one's entire being to acquiescence the glorious heights of productive prosperity. It is then as a result of such action that peace and happiness will follow.

Where Philosophy and My Book Come In

It's been some time since my last post, I've been in a funk lately; my thoughts have too often become scattered and lost, drifting away from focus. I decided to spend some time relating how philosophy and my book could inspire more people to wisdom and a better approach to resolving conflicts.

I'm not happy with the current political situation, the so called "Stimulus Package" looks more like FDR's "New Deal." Too much wasteful spending; such as millions of dollars in ear marks in the following areas: Global warming research, sexually transmitted disease prevention, new cars for themselves, billions of dollars in corporate bailouts, Federal income tax rebates including to those who pay no Federal income taxes, and not enough tax cuts. All in all almost a trillion dollars of tax payer money, mathematically it cannot work, it will require higher taxes down the road to pay for it, and in two to three years we could see inflation rise to between 20 and 30 percent. Not a single Republican in the house voted for it, still they ram-roded it through, as they can in the senate if they so choose. The leading Democrats won't even consider the Republican's plan, which is half as costly, offers more tax cuts, and creates twice as many jobs, including jobs in the private sector, not just civil service jobs. Obama has promised to consider alternatives and entertain any ideas from both sides and from corporate leaders, yet he has not made any changes to his "Stimulus Package," which in my opinion would be a complete disaster. If you add to that his proposal for the health care industry to be taken over by the Federal government, then you're looking at the beginning of the end of capitalism and the freedom which has made this the most prosperous nation on Earth. Government will just continue to get bigger with more over reaching power as we loose our personal freedoms while more and more people become dependent on more government handouts. I suppose it's possible that a bigger force than the government is controlling the supply and flow of money, forcing the politicians in the biggest transfer of wealth in American history; perhaps it is the privately owned Federal Reserve and the banking cartel, or perhaps it's deeper and more abstract, such as a dark, sinister energy pervading the powers that be, of this I am not certain.

I am certain that more people need to become more aware of what is really going on; and go back to the fundamentals of truth, to doing the right things for the right reasons, to self-reliance, hard work, decency, integrity, honor, preserving our constitution and freedom, helping others in real need, and having the highest respect for the sanctity of human life. Making these virtues come to full fruition in the long term, I believe requires wisdom. Attaining wisdom requires analytical reasoning, objective observation, fundamental knowledge, acceptance of truth, integrity, and philosophic contemplation. It takes a lot of effort, difficult in the beginning, and through time with persistence becomes easier and more natural. The brain is designed to monitor and regulate bodily functions, while the mind's purpose is to think, feel, question, understand, choose, imagine, and create ideas. We must all be active as such, as individuals, keeping at bay stagnation and complacency, while overcoming hatred and evil with love and virtue. These things are obvious and simple, yet in modern society are difficult to carry out and seem to be slipping away. That is were integrity comes in, the strength of which stems from conviction and can only endure when it is founded by the principles of humanity and truth. It is by no means anything new, but it is something more of us need to get back to, which starts with developing a deeper understanding of reality, a more dynamic view of experience, and a stronger sense of living.

Happy New Year!

Here we go again; making resolutions and beginning life anew! It used to seem silly to me for every day is a day of a new year since it's been one year ago each day is revisited. Yet in the passing of winter solstice it is the natural cycle that flows within us to the marching of more daylight hours, the coming of spring, and the promise of brighter days ahead. There is much to be said that we choose the nature of our destinies, and as chance would have it, our luck follows in parallel with the path we lead. Be it far easier to fall in complacency than to rise in virtue, and wisdom is essential in knowing what is right and true, which is often more difficult. Bad habits are hard to break, yet if you see the glory in honest effort, nobility, and honor; then happiness is found in the struggle and challenges along the journey of a higher calling. I sadly acknowledge there is much evil in the world, but we can rise above it in knowing that it is wrong to gain from the loss of others, and that it is only right to profit at the price of your own effort. We cannot ignore evil, but must strive to understand it so that it can be dissolved by the power of love. Having said that, to illustrate just how great of a force that love really is, I share with you my prayer written some time ago, it was in response to the Virginia Tech massacre:

I offer my prayer to the souls of victims of any act of terror. To the souls blackened by the twisted hatred of evil that leaves in its wake the unbearable pain of eternal torment and despair. Wretched is thee who so woefully violate and extinguish the life from the innocent and the promising youth. My prayer goes out to the active dreamers manifesting productive achievement. To those who begin from the blank slate of potential and fleet to the actualized reality from their struggle to prosperity. To those who seek higher paths of virtue with love and passion in the ascending transcendence of a growing heart and mind. To every weary soul of a higher calling that is suddenly swept away by the hand of descending darkness attempting the agonizing destruction of all that is good and hopeful.
I pray not to a deity, but to ourselves, to humanity; that the best within us does and will forever overcome the tragedy of evil. I rise up, not in anger, but in forgiveness; not to the madman committing violent acts against humanity; but in lieu of corruption and complacency, to the society of man that allows such evil to flourish. Of what purpose is that of the wretched who too often illuminate the infinite darkness of their malice upon the sufferings of man. I dare not say the unthinkable depravity of life’s love forever lost while blood is spilled in the inexorable decline to the bottomless pit of tormenting shame and fear. Instead I proudly follow the rising calling of a light so joyous and bright it lifts all conscious beings to the heights of ever ascending, purifying love.
Let us rejoice in the glory of all our efforts to rise above the temptations to the darker side of nature. Though we are but mortal specks in the eternal landscape of the ever evolving universe, uniquely we are spiritual energy trapped within the confines of physical reality. In abstract reality our eternal souls of ethereal spirit often reaches out to the unreachable realm of eternal bliss. Thought it may be forever unattainable as we strive to enter such a place that does not exist; a heaven without recourse, it is in our journey that opens our hearts and souls to acceptance and peaceful serenity. I offer my prayer to the strength and beauty of the most powerful force in nature, for it may seem to stray too far from the nature of man. My prayer goes out to all that aspire to enlightenment and virtue, to all that feel the energy of life and the binding awareness of all existence; to the one single constant that defies all forces against it, overcomes and strengthens from all obstacles and the powers determined to destroy it, and rises above all that is evil. I offer my prayer to love.

And so it goes, the procession of life and our allusion to time, which seems to tug at our aspirations with lingering dwellings from the past and apprehensions of the future. Though it is good to learn from the past and set goals for the future, let us not forget the present and be completely in it. There is nothing more pure than this moment, which will always be here, with or without us, forever now.

Let your youthful spirit come out and play, to celebrate; as if drifting on a cloud of endless delight in the beautiful expanse of the universe. Be forever free, confined by nothing but the natural laws of reality and the timeless dance of existence. Feel the joyous energy from within your soul and throughout all that is. Make it your New Year's resolution to experience this higher sense of living each and every moment of each and every day.

Happy New Year!
